Sous Chef, Oddfellows Café

Oddfellows Cafe + Bar on Capitol Hill seeks a Sous Chef to join our dynamic restaurant team. We are looking for someone to assist the chefs in day to day operations as well as maintain our standards and cost controls.

Qualified individuals should have 3 years of supervisory kitchen experience, and working knowledge of food cost controls and labor management techniques, as well as a familiarity with the seasonality and availability of products from our region. If you are motivated, energetic, and able to adapt to a constantly changing environment, we would like to talk to you. This position provides an excellent opportunity for future growth and upward mobility within our company. Must be able to work weekends and mornings.

Available shifts range from full-time to part-time; breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch, and dinner. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of one year of cooking experience, be able to follow direction and complete projects without immediate supervision, as well as possess an interest in local, sustainable, high quality food.
